I’m going to south italy for few days. I did the costumes for a performance of Luigi Presicce called Le tre cupole e la torre delle lingue. Saturday 27 luglio ore 21:00 @ Palazzo Daniele, Gagliano del Capo (LE), with King Salomone, Hiram Abif 1, Hiram Abif 2, Queen of Saba and the group of drummers.

thanks a lot to Demented and Jonida. Poesia carnosa in Roma was a new interesting situation. I was considering it as a music event but i was wrong. I especially loved the performace of Enzo Minarelli – old skull – and Acchiappashpirt did a very good set. The antwerp crew was very high on vino rosso. Thanks Roma, nun te scardà. Ci iu nxt yaar.

I did some works with wood and colored lights and designed some simple benches. Intense days / relaxing nights. This year the location was Mambo in the center of Bologna.

It took a long time to be back on this t-shirt affair. What was the matter? The t-shirt itself. I wanted a coherent support for my drawings and I wanted to be able to say: yes, this t-shirt is really hand-made; yes, it’s done here and not somewhere far away, China or Bangladesh; yes, it’s my product and it’s really done as i want. I slowly chose the fabrics and i finally designed my own t-shirt. The printing process is still similar as before but i’m now sharing this pleasure with my friends at Legno. So i’m finally back online but i know myself: i’m never satisfied, i’m always searching and feeding new fermentations. Always changing, never changing.
I installed a photos exhibition of “famous internet images” @ Istituto Svizzero. The project is called Nothing to see here.. and it’s curated by Valentina Tanni e Domenico Quaranta. More web infos here.
I spent a great week in Venezia with people of Studio Public, the shelter La Tana and the sister of Maria Bambina. Well, i never imaged to be in a situation like this and it was lovely. We worked together to renovate the whole building, painting the walls, cleaning up, planting new flowers and plants and creating chairs and benches recycling wasted materials from the Arsenale/Biennale. Together with Andrea Magnani also we assembled the crucifix, the altar, the candelolder and the bookholder. It was a good experience, based on relations and the idea of working together. The project was called Tana libera tutti.
